Welcome to the new Macomb School Choirs website.
We hope you find the website accessible and navigable. As the development process continues, we also intend to make the site increasingly interactive and collaborative.
Thank you in advance for your patience and feedback.
Currently, we have not published much of the content intended for the website. As elements of the new site become available, links to those elements will appear and/or become active on the site, particularly in the site navigation area of each page on the site.
Announcements about website improvements will often also appear in the web alert area of each page on the site. The webmaster and other authorized users will also use the web alert area to notify members, families, and friends of Macomb school choirs about late-breaking news or other important information. We have designed the web alert area as a central element in an effort to make the Macomb School Choirs website the most reliable, up-to-date source of Macomb school choirs information possible.
In addition to the site navigation and web alert areas of each page of the Macomb School Choirs website, pages on the site include a variety of other accessibility features and navigation aids.
Users will find a link to a page's main content at the top of each page. Immediately following the main content link, users will find page navigation, a series of links to the major parts of the current page.
Following the page header that identifies every page on the site as a Macomb School Choirs page, many pages will include a series of links or other navigation "widgets" for navigating to other pages in groups of closely related pages (otherwise known as a subsites). For example, the subsite navigation of each month's page on the Macomb School Choirs calendar subsite includes links to the previous and subsequent months' pages as well as form elements for displaying any specified month's page on the subsite.
Immediately preceding the site navigation area, web alert area, and main content of each page, users will find page context navigation that serves to (1) show the relation of content of the current page (indicated at the end of the list) to that of the rest of the website, beginning with the Macomb School Choirs homepage, and (2) provide links to that hierarchically related content.
At the end of the main content of each page, users will often find a "sidebar" of links to additional, related information, both on and off the Macomb School Choirs website. Immediately following the main content and any additional information, a link leads users back to page navigation near the top of the page.
Users will find the page navigation, subsite navigation, and page context navigation described above mirrored at the bottom of each page. In addition, the bottom of each page includes links to other school district websites and information about providing website feedback.
