Dear parents,
Attached is the information for Solo/Ensemble Contest on February 20th, 2010. We will also give copies to the students, but we thought you might like them so that you can plan.
We still need a few folks for the buses. We will have three buses going to Meredosia. Please let us know if you would like to come. Also, if you can't ride the bus, but would like to help watch the homeroom area, we will have a clipboard for volunteers.
Thanks!

Dear parents of contest students and other interested parties,
The contest schedule is in Excel. If you are having trouble opening it, try opening it in Excel. Also, the map and contest pack from the school are in Adobe. Again, try opening those files with those programs.
Hope this helps!
Thanks a bunch!
Erin

Dear Parents,
Attached is the duty roster for tonight. Thanks again for all your help. Remember, drop off of your desserts is from 2 – 5:00 pm at the commons. I have cut and pasted the particulars for tonight below. The students are free to leave after they sing. Thanks again!

Food Donations
We are asking you as parents and choir boosters to donate one of your prized, homemade pies or desserts for the event. We do ask that you not bring any cream pies or cream desserts (because we don't have refrigeration available to us). Please drop off your donation in a non-returnable dish to the high school commons between 2:30 and 5:00 pm on Monday, February 8th. Admission for the event is free; however, we hope that you are generous in your bidding for these prized pies and desserts. In preparing your dessert for the event, we like to remind you that presentation is everything for an auction. For example, a simple batched of home baked cookies is transformed when arranged in a decorative basket or platter (realizing that anything you donate won't be returnedJ). It is a great help to the auctioneers if you label the name of the dessert on your donation. Again, we are looking for specialty homemade items that will garner high bids from the audience (not items that are "store bought").
Concessions
We will be selling pizza, subs, and coke products at the event so that you have the opportunity to eat dinner at the auction.

Dear parents,
If you haven't turned in a pink sheet to help at the concert/dessert auction … here is your chance! I need a few brave parents to help monitor the sixth graders in the choir room at the high school until we can get there.
They would have to be at the HS choir room a little before six (5:50 pm) for their 6:00 pm call. I will get there as soon as I can. I warm them up and then I take them to the commons for their 6:30 performance.
Any takers…
Thanks!
