Madrigal, Jazz Voices and Men's ensemble

Dear Parents of students in Madrigals, Jazz Voices and/or Men's Ensemble,

Please disregard this message if your child is not in one of these ensembles.

I have attached a memo regarding the uniform for these groups. I will be ordering the uniforms for the new people on Monday morning. However, if you think that your son or daughter has outgrown their current uniform or if you think you need a new set of cufflinks/button covers, please let me know by Monday morning.

Also, if you think that you may be unable to pay for any reason, let me know and perhaps we can work something out.

MHS Choir Handbook

Dear Concert Choir Parents,

Hope are enjoying the last few days of your break! In order to give you a jump start on the paperwork, I am attaching the 9-12 Grade Choir Handbook. This handbook has several forms and permission slips which require your attention. Also, concert attendance is a major part of the students grade and the choir calendar for the year is in the handbook. Please put these dates in your family calendar so that the students can attend and are not penalized. The students will also get this handbook the first day of choir, but I thought that I would send an e copy to you as well if you wanted to print them out, fill out the forms, attach any checks, and return them to me at school. You could have your child return them to us the first day of school and check this item off of your to do list. If you have multiple children in the choral program, they will each need their own set of papers. So, I apologize in advance for the double paperwork! The forms are officially due on Thursday, August 27th and are a graded assignment.

Spring Concert Deletion … New Calendar Attached

Dear Parents,

Thanks to a detail oriented friend and choir mom, she noticed that the spring concert was accidentally deleted from the table of concert dates in the handbooks. We do have a spring concert on Tuesday, May 11th, 2010. Occasionally, some dates/times do change, but you will get fair warning of any changes.

I have attached a table of dates for your records.
